Networks are an important building block in the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency (NAPE) for achieving the German government’s energy and climate protection goals and offer companies a wide range of benefits. ÖKOTEC has initiated and founded over 60 networks since 2004. This year sees the launch of several networks in which you can actively participate.

The aim of participating in a network is for each participating company to benefit from the exchange of expertise and to achieve an increase in energy efficiency, a reduction in energy costs and CO2 emissions and to be supported with normative requirements such as DIN EN ISO 50001.

Central Germany Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection Network

We have been offering an exchange program for companies in Central Germany since 2021. Our ÖKOTEC expert Sylvia Jacobi accompanies the network meetings, carries out consultations with the participating companies and coordinates the target setting and monitoring as part of the initiative for energy efficiency and climate protection networks. Johann Behrends, Behrends Consult, moderates the network. The meetings take place in turn at the participating companies or digitally. The network team supports the host company with the preparations. The second network round will start in May 2024.

Duration for the Central Germany network: 01.05.2024 – 30.04.2027

Network for the introduction of an energy management network in accordance with ISO 50001

As part of the Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG), which was enacted at the end of 2023, many companies will have to fulfil additional requirements. For example, companies with a total annual energy consumption of more than 7.5 GWh are also obliged to introduce an energy or environmental management system in accordance with ISO 50001 or EMAS. Are you affected by this? We can support you with our network in introducing the system on time. Benefit from our experience. The energy management team at ÖKOTEC has successfully supported over 200 customers with the introduction of energy management systems in accordance with ISO 50001 right through to certification.

Duration for the network introduction of energy management: Q2 2024 – Q4 2024 (9 months)
